Andy Wickham

Andy Wickham joined Life Cycle Geo in March 2026 as a geochemist. His career has focused on environmental characterization of mine waste materials and geochemical modeling for mining operations to inform mine planning, operations, closure, and reclamation. He earned his MSc in geology from the University of British Columbia in 2021, where he studied the application of surficial mineral exploration techniques in northern Canada. He has supported mining projects in all phases of the mining life cycle, including late-stage exploration, baseline, permitting, optimization of active operations, closure planning, and post-closure monitoring for a variety of deposit sizes and commodities. During his career, he has acquired experience primarily in the western United States and Western Australia, with additional experience in Alaska, Canada, Mexico, South America, and Africa. He is fluent in a range of geochemical and hydrological modeling software, including PHREEQC, GoldSim, and Geochemist’s Workbench, to simulate operational and closure alternatives to optimize strategies for mine water, waste, and pit lake management.

Andy is based in Winter Park, Colorado. Out of the office, you can find him skiing, mountain biking, and camping across the West.
